Affiliate links have growing greatly in the last few years.
What exactly is affiliate linking? Why do companies chose to use
this type of advertising? Let’s take a look at some of the
basics of affiliate linking. There are several companies that
you can create an account with for free, and then you will have
instant access to hundreds of thousands of products to advertise
for and start earning money. You will want to choose products
that you know about so when you advertise you can make educated
statements. If you have a blog you may choose to advertise some
of these products on your blog or even your web site if you have
one. Companies that offer a digital product often turn to
affiliate marketing because they do not have to do any leg work.
They provide the product information and others do the work for
a commission of the sale. They get the luxury of deciding what
they want the commission to be set at.
Once you have created your account and logged in you will
have access to all the different products. Every company is set
up differently so you will have to go to the area where you
search for products, once you are there you want to look at some
of the information about each product. There will probably be
more then one product in the field that you are looking for so
you will want to compare them. You will probably want to chose
the product that has the highest commission and that has a high
percentage of purchases this way you know that people are
purchasing the product. Once you have chosen a product you will
need to create what is called a hop link. Once you have this
link you should save it in a text file so that you have it for
future use as well. Take this link and place it on your site or
blog if you have one. You can also take the link and create an
article about the product then submit your article to sites and
you can also submit just your link to search engines. You want
to be sure that you are using your hop link so you will get your
commission, if you use the generic link you will not get the
commission. There are many possibilities that you can take
advantage of with affiliate linking. You will need to be
creative and you will notice that it will become second nature
